Where to apply
Headlights
Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating can apply to headlights.
The way of applying is same as the car body, but headlights are clear, so if you applied it unevenly, the foggy finishing stands out.
Please check it from some angles during the application.
We recommend to apply it to headlights for the prevention from the deterioration and yellowing!
Wheels
Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating can apply to wheels.
However, you should better to test to the remarkable parts for wheels which is special coated or is made by special materials.
If you apply it to wheels, it became easy to remove mud, so washing a car should be easier!
Plastic parts
Especially Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating is recommended to apply plastic parts because they are getting foggy in a long term.
If you apply it, the plastic pars will get deeper and shiner gloss.
Moreover, same as headlights, it can prevent from deterioration, so when you apply it to the car body, you can apply it to plastic parts together!
Metal parts

Where NOT to apply
Windshields
Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating CANNOT apply to windshields.
Please be careful not to adhere to the windshields when you apply.
If the liquid adhere to the windshield, please wipe it off immediately.
If you leave it for a long time, the crystal of glass ceramic coating will be made.
The mirrors cannot be applied, neither.
Rubber parts
Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating CANNOT apply to rubber parts.
Because rubber absorb the liquid.
Same as windshields, please wipe it off immediately if it adheres.
Using a masking tape should be good if you’re worried about it.
A car body without a clear coat
Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating CANNOT apply to a car body without a clear coat.
There is possibility to remove the car paint due to Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating.
Of course, we hear that some customers could apply it to an old car which has no clear coat,
but please test to apply it to the unremarkable place first if you want.
Also please test as much as possible to the parts where is repaired with a touch pen.
Other things we tried to apply
Our staff have applied to Play Station Potable, Nintendo DS and a laptop.
We cannot touch until full cured, but it gets easy to dirt such as a hand-stained.
(However, please don’t forget our ceramic coating is made for cars.)
Should I reapply Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating?

Today’s question is “Should I reapply Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating?”
We may be flattering ourselves, but Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating can spread very well.
Of course it depends on types of cars, just a few drops can apply to the one third of the bonnet.
As a result, we often heard from some customers that half of (or more) the liquid remain and they ask
“Should I replay with this remained liquid?”
The answer is…OK for reapplying.
However, there are something to be careful when you reapply with the bottle which has already opened below!
– Please don’t forget that basically we don’t recommend to apply the glass coating which has already opened. Please do it your own responsibility.
– The second application should only be done, as the first layer has to be completely cured. (From 2 weeks to 1 month after the first application is the best.)
– During this period, please place the cap back on tightly and store the bottle in a dark and cool place, like in a fridge.
– Before the second application, check that the bottle does NOT have any crystallized liquid or white powder on the mouth of the bottle. (If there is any crystallization or white powder, then do not reuse the liquid in this bottle, otherwise it may cause scratches on the first coating.)

Good points of applying Nano Pika Pika Rain Type-K
The water repellency
Pika Pika Rain PREMIIUM’s water repellency is very nice.
However, if you apply Nano Pika Pika Rain Type-K together, you can get better one.
The protection layer
When you apply Nano Pika Pika Rain Type-K on Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM, the protection layer is made on the glass layer,
It can reduce damages by scratches to the glass layer. Moreover, it gets hard to adhere fine dirt such as yellow sand and pollen and these are removed easily.
The gloss and touch
The deep and moisture gloss which is a characteristic of ceramic coating, and then it gets more shine by Nano Pika Pika Rain Type-K.
Also the touch changes from creak when you touch the glass to smooth.
These two points are easy to find, so please try on your precious car.

Easy 3 steps! How to apply Nano Pika Pika Rain Type-K
Things to need
– A space for washing & water
– Nano Pika Pika Rain Type-K
– Microfiber cloth (a few pieces)
– Car shampoo (if you need)
1. Wash a car
At all events, washing a car!
Please wash your car with car shampoo as possible as you can.
Nano Pika Pika Rain can apply for the wet car body.
2. Spray onto to the car body
Please shake the bottle well and make a microfiber cloth wet and wring out.
Then please spray 1-2 times onto the microfiber cloth.
At that time, you should better to spray evenly onto the microfiber cloth to make the better finishing.
※Cautions※
We have inquiries from our customers about a cloudy or foggy finish.
Nano Pika Pika Rain is strong, so if you spray too much, the finishing should be cloudy and foggy, not beautiful.
Especially, for a dark color car, it is clear to find it, so please control amount of spraying.
Moreover, please do not use Nano Pika Pika Rain to windshields and rubber parts.
3. Apply
Wipe off the car body with the microfiber cloth which is sprayed Nano Pika Pika Rain Type-K.
At this time, we recommend to divide the surface of the car body into small areas (like half of the bonnet, one of doors and so on) to apply evenly.
Please check every parts you applied and if you find unwiped areas or the liquid, please wipe them with another dry microfiber cloth.

How to deal with sudden rain during the application of Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating!
Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating cannot allow to get wet such as rain…
However, it is impossible to control the weather, isn’t it?
Especially, in the rainy season, it is difficult to know when it rains.
Then we would like to explain how to deal with sudden rain during the application and within 12 hours after the application.
Rain during the application
Move your car to the place with a roof
Please move your car to the place has a roof immediately if it starts raining.
Then please wipe the water on the car body with a microfiber cloth softly.
If your car is caught heavy rain, you should better to wipe the water softly and apply Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating again because there is possibility the ceramic coating is removed by the heavy rain.
If rain is not so hard, wiping softly is OK.
Also if you apply Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating at the place with a roof, you can keep to apply.
Interrupt applying
If you cannot move your car to the place with a roof, please interrupt applying.
After the rain stopped, please you can wipe the water on the car body and restart to apply.
If you leave the water before curing Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating completely, it causes cloudiness of the glass layer and the dirt.
Therefore, please wipe after raining immediately.
Rain within 12 hours after the application
Move your car to the place with a roof
Same as above, but it is safe to keep your car in a place with a roof as much as possible.
If it rains within 12 hours after the application, move your car to the place with a roof and wipe the water with a microfiber cloth softly.
Cover with a car sheet
If you cannot move your car to the place with a roof, please wipe the water softly and then cover a car sheet.
Also please be careful not to rub the car body with the car seat.
It’s OK if a few hours passed after you applied the coating.
If a few hours passed after you applied Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating, you don’t have to be so serious.
Because the ceramic coating almost cures, so hardly it is removed by the rain.
However, the time for curing depends on the environment, so please check the condition of the car body after wiping the water.
If you don’t find any cloudiness or unevenness, the ceramic coating stays on the car body.
Above all, applying in sunny days is the best, but if a few hours passed after you applied Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating might be OK even though if it rains a little.
When you find the cloudiness and unevenness of the coating, please try to wipe them with a microfiber cloth first.
If they are not be removed, it means that curing is going on.
Therefore, please polish with compound partially and replay Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating there.

This time we would like to tell you cautions for applying Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM to a brand new car.
Things to inform to car dealers
Inform them not to apply car wax or car coating
Some car dealers apply car wax or car coating to hide slash scratches or to make it look better before you receive it.
If other car wax or car coating is applied already, you have to remove it first and it should be very time consuming.
Therefore, please tell car dealers not to apply car wax and car coating clearly.
Using a car shampoo which is in a water repellent as well.
If Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM is applied on other car wax or car coating, there is possibility to come off together when the lower one comes off.
Inform them not to use a car wash machine
All dealers wash a car before its delivery, but there are 2casec
– one is washing by hand, and another is washing by a car wash machine.
The car body is damaged by car wash brush even though the car is brand new.
Of course, Pika Pika Rain can make scratches less noticeable, but it cannot remove them.
Therefore, please ask them not to use a car wash machine as much as possible.
If they are impossible to wash by hand, please ask use a high pressure car wash machine which doesn’t have brushes.
Cautions for oneself
Wash your car even though it looks beautiful

Some of you might you like this, but sometimes tiny dust are on the car body,
so please wash your car before applying Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM.
Washing with a car shampoo is the best, but washing with the water is also OK.
Please wash off something on the car body.
If you leave the dirt or dust before the application, these are coated together in the glass layer.
