I was fascinated by the gloss. Testing the water repellency.

Pika Pika Rain Oil Remover & Nano Pika Pika Rain Type-K

【About working】
I sprayed the solution to the attached microfiber cloth and wiped with it.
The solution was white but it almost looks e water, so in my feeling was wiping the water rather than applying the solution.
I didn’t have to wipe strongly.
If I put on the solution too much, there is possibility to make foggy finishing,
so I tried to wipe thinly and evenly.

However, frankly, I noticed after I read the instruction later,
Nano Pika Pika Rain can be used to the wet car body and spray to the wet microfiber cloth…!

【While application】
The gloss was getting deeper and deeper.
There were some fine scratches, but Nano Pika Pika Rain made them unnoticeable.

【After application】
I finished the work with about 30 minutes for my minivan.
Application was so easy. The gloss was as nice as my expectation.
I realized “the water-sliding effect” when I splashed the water to the car body.

【My review】
It was much easier that other products which I used to try other products.
There are nothing to be hasty if the bad smell to your hands or clothes.

I cannot believe that this car has been exposed outside for 10 years!

From the next time, I’m looking forward to trying the following things;
– Applying it after Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic application.
– Applying it to the wet car body.

By the way, Pika Pika Rain Oil Remover contains alcohol, so it smells such a hospital,
but it volatilizes, so I feel that it is almost odorless.
It is completely different from other oil remover products.

The water repellency (the next day of reapplication it had rain.)

First I wondered that the solution could be enough with such a small bottle?
However, I washed my car with Pika Pika Rain Car Shampoo, removed dirt with clay,
washed it again, and then, I applied Hyper Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating.

Surprisingly, half of the bottle remained.
For the first time, I applied it in May, and after that, I was keeping it in the fridge for 3 weeks.
Then I washed and reapplied it again.

After 24 hours reapplication, it had rain suddenly, so I took photos about the water repellency.
It wasn’t “Super hydrophobic”, but it repelled well.

I’m satisfied with it.
After that, I applied Nano Pika Pika Rain for 3 times, but the water repellency is still working.

I bought Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating because it has many good reviews on radio and the Internet.
Before I used to other hydrophilic coating product, but there were stubborn water spots on the hood.

I removed water spots as preparation before application under a burning sky in summer.
I just repeated applying the solution to the small areas and wiped it.
The time for preparation was about 1 hour, and for application was about 1 hour, too.

I was surprised the gloss and shine like a mirror after application.
The water repellency is also excellent.

I’m happy to buy it.
From now on, I expect the durability.

【After application】

I applied Super Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating today.
My car was 1996 model, so the car surfaces were in bad condition.
Therefore, the day before of application, I polished whole of the car.

Application was very easy and I could apply it with a little amount.
(One of the sponges came off the soft side due to the rough car surface…)

Also wiping was easy without foggy finishing and it made the gloss came back.
As you can see the results of gloss in photos such as the surrounding science was reflected on the car body.

Now, the car body will be no problems until the car will be 20 years old.

I was thinking about something good ways because the gloss got foggy due to volcanic ash.
Before I used to try the professional coating and other DIY coating products, but almost all I was not satisfied with results, such as the cost or durability.
At that time, I found Super Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating which has many good reviews on the Internet, and then I tried it for the first time.

I washed my car with the original shampoo which was contained the usual car shampoo and the dish soap which I expected removing the oil.
Also the instruction says that I should try not to remain any water, so I wiped and blew the water off carefully.

I applied the solution with the attached sponge.
The solution spread very well, so a little amount is enough for a whole car.
(Not to put on the solution too much!)

I think that tips of application were repeating the works (applying for every small areas, wiping the solution and checking results).

The photos show after application. It has nice results as many reviews.
There were a few rainy days, but I could check the dirt decrease before application.
From now on, I hope that this effect will keep for 3 years.
