Glass coating pika pika rain that is the most popular in Japan

I bought a brand new car in autumn of 2016.
The season changed to spring, I met Pika Pika Rain when I was considering about applying glass coating.

I watched the movie how to apply many times and I thought that I can do it by myself.
Then I bought Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM in March.

I washed my car with car shampoo, applied oil remover and dried as the instruction.
The glass coating spread very well so it was easy to apply.

It is difficult to find whether I applied or not due to its light color, I thought I could apply it evenly.
Because the touch changed from rough to smooth by the application.

Microfiber Cloth which attached to Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM was nice to wipe,
so I feel it was easier than car wax.

The gloss was gone by salt and sands because my daughter drive the shoreline to her work,
however, after the application, the gloss can be recover by splashing the water and it can also remove the dirt.

The movie is after 2 weeks of the application.
Its water-sliding effect makes me happy.

I’m looking forward to checking how long this condition can keep.

Last time I applied Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM to my daughter’s car and I was satisfied its finishing,
so this is my second challenge.

I used two third I applied it to 8 wheels (at that time I changed the tires) and car paint surface evenly.

I took 3 hours to apply.

I’m going to reapply with the remained glass coating to the bonnet, roof and light parts 2 weeks later.

I had thought that glass coating was troublesome,
but Pika Pika Rain was so easy to apply, so I think that this is one of their sales points.

Same as reputations, the blue metallic car body become more glossy and
the black roof became deeper.

From before, when my car got dirty, the dirt remained and the gloss was gone.
However, Pika Pika rain can keep my car beautiful and glossy because the dirt can be removed with rain.

I will keep its gloss and water-sliding effect by using Pika Pika Rain detailing spray.

I bought the first Pika Pika Rain product for the first time in 3 and half years when I bought Super Pika Pika Rain.

Super Pika Pika Rain did not become less effective,
but, I wanted this car to be not look too bad against another bran new car.
then I bought and applied Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM this time.

The photos are before the application.
I did car washing, removing water spots and iron fillings,
so it becomes beautiful by these preparation without applying glass coating.

About 3 hours need to apply, but it was not so hard for me.

It is difficult to find the difference when you compare with pictures,
but I was satisfied with the gloss which became deeper than before the application.

I’m going to get Pika Pika Rain’s support next time, too!

I applied Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM carefully, but I finished all in around an hour.
The way to apply was simple, so I could do it quickly.
I applied it to my VEZEL this time, and half of a bottle remained.

After the application, there is hardly any dirt on the car body.
I can wash off even though my car gets dirty by raining.

Moreover, about the water repellency, I feel it is no problem.
About the durability, I cannot say anything because only a few weeks passed after the application.
Also I have never used other products, so I cannot compare with it, neither.

2 years passed after the car detailer applied hydrophilic coating to my brand new car.

I thought

Then I reached to Pika Pika Rain which has good reputations in the Internet.
I did car washing, removing the iron fills and polishing as the preparation,
and finally I applied glass coating!

I spent 3 hours for car washing (maybe I was reluctant to wash it…),
1 hour for applying to the car body and 1 hour for applying the wheels.

I started to wash a car from 3 pm, so when I moved to the application, it was getting dark.
Therefore, it was difficult to fine whether I applied it or not
and whether I applied it evenly or not… for a while, I finished it.

As the instruction said, applying small areas which is dived the car body is better than applying at once.
The weather forecast said the next day will be rainy, so I was relieved that I could finished it safely.

Normally rainy days make me depressed, but this time I was excited it.

The next day, it was rainy according to the water forecast.
I had something to do by my car, so I decided to check its effect!

It was difficult to find the water repellency during driving,
but I checked my car when I parked it , I could find water drops repellency as I had expected!

Yes, yes, I have been waiting this!

After raining, there were no water drops on the car body.
Moreover, the reflected scenery on the car body was so beautiful!

The gloss was so shiny!
It was the shine like just washed a car even though I didn’t wipe the water!

…I know that it is just self-satisfaction.
Applying by car detailers is should be nice if I have money.

However, if I found the effect of glass coating by myself, I like my car much more!
(The cost was one tenth!)

The both of labor and time for the application and
the pleasure after the application are “priceless”, aren’t they?
