Glass coating pika pika rain that is the most popular in Japan

I bought my car 3 years ago and I asked the professional car coating at that time. (It was very expensive…)

After that, it cost 16,000 JPY for the coating every year when I had an annual car inspection.
However, the water repellency was getting weaker about from 6 months and finally it didn’t repels anymore, I think that I don’t have a garage.

Then I tried to apply car ceramic coating by myself, so I didn’t ask the treatment for the coating when the last car inspection.

I applied Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating to the front side, hood, roof and lyres, except side bodies.
I also used Pika Pika Rain Liquid Compound to remove the previous coating.
First, I polished with Fine and used a microfiber cloth.
After car washing, I polished Ultra-Fine and washed my car and dried again. I could do it easily.

It was winter, so I did preparation the day before to prevent the frost.
The next day, I started applying from 9 a.m.
The solution spread very well and I could wipe it easily. It was much easier than usual car wax.
There were frosts on the car body in the next morning, so I wiped them with the microfiber cloth even more than 12 hours passed.

It had rain after 3 days application, but it repels very well.
However, I can find small spots on the hood when the sun, but I don’t know the reason.

If the durability is good, I’m going to apply it to other my families’ cars.

I had been applying other detailer ceramic coating for 6 years to drive my second hand car beautifully.
However, it should cost money for an annual treatment and reapplication (in the third year), so I tried to change to Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating which I had been interested in it since I listened to the radio.

I asked the detailer to remove the ceramic coating only as preparation.
Then I started to wash the car from 7 am and after that I took 2 hours for application.

In conclusion, I was very satisfied with the results!
Other hydrophobic coating used to stay on the sedan’s plat hood and it caused water spots.
However, Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating is water sliding effect and
the water slides smoothly, so it is difficult to make water spots.
By the way, slight scratches around the door knobs became unnoticeable beautifully.

As you can see the photos, the gloss and the reflection are amazing.
I took the last photo at the gasoline station in night, but the roof reflected on the hood beautifully.
Recently, I asked to the dealer to keep my car for a month, and when I took it back I thought they washed my car for me, but it was wrong. It was dirty when I got close to it.
The gloss was so beautiful such I made a mistake.

I bought another unit for the second application, but morning and night dew are serious at the moment, so I’m going to try again when it will get warmer.
I’m very satisfied with this product even if it will last for only 1 or 2 years, because it is much cheaper than detailer coating.

I took photos No.1 to No.4 compare with before and after application.
It is difficult to say which is better in photos, but after application has much deeper gloss obviously.
I applied Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating on the next day of delivery my brand new car.

I heard that water is the worst enemy of it, so I finished all works in the morning (washing the car with shampoo and removing oil from 8 am and applying Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating from 10am to 12 pm).
When I checked the car at 8 pm, there were some night dews on the top part because I was parking it outside.
At that time I didn’t wipe these, but I checked at 10 am the next day again, it looked any bad effects by night dews and it was so shiny.
Therefore, I think that there is no problem if I finish application in the morning even in December.

No.5 & 6 photos show that after 2 days application.
No.7 & 8 photos show the water repellency because it had rain.
There were some dust but these removed by the water, so after car care will be easier from now on!

I read some reviews that the solution remained even though a big car,
but I might apply too much, so the solution was not enough for applying to wheels and plastic parts.
Therefore, please make sure no to put the solution on a sponge too much.

This time I bought a secondhand car.
It was my first time to own a black car and I found some water spots on the hood.

Then I was looking for the best ways and I thought Pika Pika Rain Ceramic Coating was best when I read some reviews.
Also I need water sliding effect, not hydrophobic effect and then I chose Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating finally.

About a half year had passed since I bought the car, so I removed them before applying Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating.
I thought car ceramic coating was more difficult to apply than car wax, but I could do it easily which I didn’t have to do wipe such as car wax.
The paint condition is not so bad, so it looks more shiner a lite now, but I expect the gloss will be getting deeper and deeper from now on after full cured.
It is difficult to find in photos, but I think that the black color from real parts are deeper than before application

I don’t have any plans for using my car from this 2 weeks, so I’m going wait full cured in the garage which has a roof.

I applied Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating on September 22.
I did works in the following order;
Washing with car shampoo → removing iron fillings with clay → polishing
→ applying Pika Pika Rain Oil Remover → applying Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating

I was careful about the date of application because I had not to allow getting wet for 12 hours after application. Then I chose the noon which was difficult to occurs night dew.
After application, I wiped the water into gaps completely after car washing with shampoo.

Application was so simple such applying with a sponge and wiping the solution with a microfiber cloth gently.
I checked whether I forget to wipe from different angles when I wiped.

I thought that I won’t make a mistake if I apply carefully and there were any difficult things in particular.

Also the liquid spread very well, so it could apply widely.
However, half of the bottle left event though I applied it to LEGACY B4, therefore I tried the second application 2 weeks later.

Regard as my review, the shine was amazing!
Of course the shine was amazing under the sun light, but the car body looks very shiny under the lights in night and it’s my favorite.

Water repellency is nice, too.
Also the water repellency of the doors makes me refresh as water drops don’t stay.

The attached photos which I took after raining, but you can find that there are little water drops on the door because the water has fallen.
