I avoided the sunlight as much as possible with a blue tarpaulin in the beginning of August as preparation for Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating.
I washed my brand new car and applied Pika Pika Rain Oil Remover on the day of delivery at 5:30 p.m.
The next day, I was going to apply Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating from 6 a.m. after wash and dry for removing dust which adhered during the last night.
Before removing oil, things went as my scheduled,
but applying Oil Remover was skipped due to the high temperature as 37℃, because I was worried about the car body temperature and the drying time which is a several hours.
Then it took about 3 hours which included removing dust with a blower and a microfiber cloth, applying Pika Pika Rain PREMIUM Ceramic Coating which I started to apply from the parts which gets hot easily.
It is difficult to find in photos due to a brand new car, so you might see that before and after application don’t change dramatically, but, in fact, the gloss got much deeper.
I applied the liquid to plastic parts, metal parts, the number plates and one fifth of the bottle remained.
I used microfiber clothes and sponges 3 pieces for each.
The phots show that the water repellency on the car body after raining 8 days after application.
I tried to wash and I was satisfied that dirt could be washed off easily.
I’m going to try Nano Pika Pika Rain which has already next month.
