Auto dealers sometimes do waxing / polymer coating to hide small scratches or to make the car look better before they deliver the car, even if you did not request it. In that case, as Pika Pika Rain glass coating [ ceramic coating ] has to be made as a clear coat without any wax / polymer coating, you will need to first remove any wax / polymer coating from the car. Please tell the auto dealer NOT not to wax or coat the car in advance of the delivery. We also recommend the auto dealer does NOT apply any car shampoo that has a water repellent effect.

All auto dealers will wash your car before delivery, but there are two methods of car washing, by hand or by machine. Car washing by machine may scratch your car with tiny dust caught in the brushes. If the auto dealer cannot hand wash the car before delivery, please ask them to use a high pressure washing machine without brushes.

If you are not able to use car shampoo, it’s okay to only clean the car with water. Please make sure to wash any dirt or particles away from the surface. If you apply the Pika Pika Rain glass coating [ ceramic coating ] liquid without first washing the car, the glass layer may contain dust particles inside.
